COVID-19 has heavily impacted the non-profit space, causing many much-needed fundraising events to postpone or cancel this year. With need for services at the Children’s Cottage Society on the rise, the Wee Wild Ones team was determined to March Onwards. This became the inspiration for MONSTER MONTH.
Together, with friends from all over YYC, WWO hopes to raise $50,000 for the Children’s Cottage Society throughout October.
So, how do you get involved?
Register for the Monster March: Virtual Walk-a-Thon
From October 1 - 31, you’re invited to dress up, get active, and explore YYC in support of families in need. Explore your neighbourhood with family and friends, or visit new locations around Calgary on the Monster Maps. Earn prizes for fundraising milestones, tracking your distance on Strava (get those steps in), or sharing your costumed-selfies on social media. Registration is now open!
Shop the Monster Merch Collection
Wee Wild Ones is spreading the local love by partnering with a few familiar favourites! For the month of October, a portion of proceeds from the sale of Monster Merch products will be donated to the Children’s Cottage.
