The lure of the mystery crewneck got me… I wanted to try this company. Buying Canadian is important to me, more now than ever. In today’s economic landscape, I thought this was a smart way to check out a new-to-me brand. So I ordered the mystery crewneck. I did so with high hopes and expectations. I received prompt shipping information. I was sent a video email thanking me for my purchase, and a few days later, my package arrived. Imagine my surprise when I opened the bag and discovered the Not All Canadians Are Nice crewneck. The design is clever, funny, and very “Canadian” without being overdone. The quality is there. The fabric is thick, soft, and cozy without feeling stiff, and the fit is exactly what you want in a crewneck you’ll actually reach for- I sized up for an oversized look and feel. It feels well-made, and like it’s going to hold up and not lose its shape after a couple of washes. I also appreciate that even as a mystery item, my purchase still feels curated and special, not a product that just didn’t sell. This isn’t a leftover or filler piece. It is something I would’ve chosen myself. So, if you’re on the fence about the mystery option, or even the Local Laundry brand, please know that this converted me. Would absolutely order again. I also want to add that the first day I wore it to work (casual Friday at school), my colleagues all wanted to know where I got my crewneck… it is that good.
