Sustainability & Manufacturing

How we make Canadian‑quality gear responsibly — materials, partners, packaging, and care. Clear, simple, and honest.

Materials & Origins

We prioritize Canadian mills and makers where possible. Product pages list the country of origin and fibre content for each style.

Core Fabrics

  • Cotton fleece & jersey: Everyday comfort with durable knit construction.
  • Blends (e.g., cotton/poly): Balanced softness, strength, and shape retention.
  • Wool & down (select items): Seasonal warmth with care instructions on tag.

Where It’s Made

  • Core apparel is proudly made in Canada with Canadian partners.
  • Some specialty collabs/accessories may be made elsewhere — the product page always lists origin.

Curious about a specific style? Check the “Materials & Origin” on that product page or contact us.

Manufacturing Partners

We work with experienced cut‑and‑sew facilities and embellishment shops. For privacy and commercial reasons we don’t publish full addresses, but required details appear on commercial invoices and customs documents.

  • Ethical production: Safe working conditions and fair wages are core expectations.
  • Quality first: Test prints, sample approvals, and QC before bulk production.
  • Local focus: Canadian partners whenever feasible; otherwise trusted partners abroad.

Standards & Certifications

Where applicable, we aim for materials and dyes that meet recognized standards (e.g., OEKO‑TEX Standard 100). Certification can vary by product and supplier; see each product page for available details.

Environmental Impact

  • Thoughtful sourcing: Durable fabrics designed for long wear reduce replacement cycles.
  • Responsible dyeing & finishing: We work with partners who follow local environmental regulations.
  • Small‑batch production: Helps limit overproduction and deadstock.

Care over landfill: See Care & Longevity to extend your garment’s life.

Packaging

  • Mailers and boxes are recyclable where facilities exist.
  • We continue to evaluate options that balance protection, cost, and footprint.

Care & Longevity

Simple care keeps gear looking great longer:

  • Wash cold with like colours, inside‑out; avoid bleach and fabric softener.
  • Lay flat to dry or tumble low; high heat can cause shrinkage.
  • Do not iron decoration; if needed, press inside‑out on low with a cloth.

Repairs & Take‑Back

We’re exploring options to support repairs and textile diversion. In the meantime, consider repairing locally and donating wearable items.
