WHY WE MADE THIS: RYDER'S COLLECTION
We are excited to announce our third partnership with Kodette LaBarbera and present Ryder’s Collection! The 2021 Ryder’s Collection is comprised of three Canadian-made garments, a black Bamboo Zip-Up & bamboo T-shirt, and a classic sports grey Crewneck. $30, $10 and $25 from each garment, respectively, will be donated to Autism Canada.

In 2019 we launched our first collaboration featuring Ryder’s Crew in a classic black Crewneck, followed by a navy blue classic Crewneck in 2020. Both the 2019 & 2020 collaborations donated a portion of the profits to the Autism Aspergers Friendship Society [AAFS]. Throughout the past years continuing our partnership with Kodette, the collaboration has generated awareness for those living with Autism; the charities involved and raised thousands of dollars from our communities and evangelists.
When Ryder’s Crew first launched in 2019, the design featured a puzzle piece and a heart. A puzzle piece is a symbol for Autism, parlaying the idea that a puzzle pattern reflects the complexity of the Autism spectrum. The design attributed to Ryder’s Collection is an integrated heart & puzzle piece, a meaningful symbol for Autism, speaking to the idea of “until the pieces fit”. Therefore, the hashtag for Ryder’s Collection campaign #UntilThePiecesFit.
Ryder’s Collection is to bring awareness about Autism, those living with Autism and how communities can support Autism Canada. In 2012, while attending Montessori school, Ryder was told he was “not a good fit” and that “something was wrong with him”. Hurt, upset and frustrated, it was later determined that Ryder had Autism.
After meeting with specialists, undergoing therapy and with the support of his family and friends, Ryder is thriving. Attending mainstream school, Ryder talks, plays and engages with friends, teachers and younger brother Easton. Ryder amazes those around him every single day!
This limited-edition collection is available for pre-order until March 31st, 2021. All orders from Ryder’s Collection will go into production starting April 1st, 2021, we promise no foolin’ ;) Following production, orders will ship as early as May 1st.
The Zip-Up & T-shirt are both made with bamboo made from rayon which is a premium fabric that is not only antimicrobial but moisture-wicking as well. Garments made with bamboo from rayon doesn’t hold onto odour as much as traditional fabrics, therefore not smelling as much or needing constant washing, which is going to come in handy coming into warmer months. The Crewneck is our classic Canadian crew made with 50/50 cotton polyester blend, which is super cozy and comfy!
