Local Crew - Style Your Life XO
Hey, Local Laundry fam! We hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and holiday and is staying warm over this devilish cold spell, yikes! Today we have a very special guest blog from one of our favourite Edmonton blogger babes, Camille from Style Your Life Xo! Camille was one of our nominees and participants in our Edmonton Traveling Sweater Campaigns, and we couldn't resist working with her again to help us style up our Local Crew! In Camille's blog below you'll read about how she supports local, what she thinks about the Local Crew and two different looks on how to style up your Local Crew!
Let's dive into it!

As an Edmonton native, I do my absolute best to support locally. Whether it be a cafe, the grand opening of a new boutique, or even shopping for gifts this Christmas holiday, its what makes the city thrive. I teamed up Local Laundry for their Local Crew campaign aimed to promote the importance of buying from Canadian made brands. If you have been following my blog, you may have come across a collab I did with Local Laundry for their Traveling Sweater campaign aimed to spread awareness of local communities in each Canadian city.
The sweater I am wearing in today’s post is Local Laundry’s Local Crewneck in peppered black with the brand’s logo embedded over the heart to represent their love for not only Canada but for being Canadian made. When you purchase Local Laundry’s Local Crewneck, you are purchasing and supporting a garment that has been designed in the home and native land aka Canada. You are contributing to the Canadian apparel industry, you are creating more job opportunities, and most importantly, you are showing that you value quality over quantity. I took the Local Crewneck to one of my favourite local cafe called Little Brick, located in Riverdale alongside the River Valley. Upon entering the cafe, I noticed an area where you can buy locally made products such as soap, cookbooks, and to my surprise, Local Laundry “Canada” T-shirts (coincidence)! I paired the Local Crew with my favourite black trousers, a black beret and my favourite Jordan Bred 1 sneakers to match the little red door at Little Brick. I did not plan this look, I swear! Hope you enjoy the photos, as well as the rest of the Christmas holidays, See you in the new year!
