Local Laundry Contest Rules
Local Laundry $5,000 Custom Clothing Mystery Box and $1,000 Golden Ticket Giveaway Rules
1. Contest Period
The contest begins on October 7th at 12:00 AM and will run on an ongoing basis until further notice (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be received during the Contest Period to be eligible.
2. Eligibility
This contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who are at least 18 years of age. Employees of Local Laundry, their immediate family members, and anyone residing in the same household are not eligible to participate.
3. How to Enter
To enter the contest, participants must:
• Purchase a Giving Toque or Bow River Shacket from LocalLaundry.ca during the Contest Period. Each Giving Toque purchased equals one entry into the contest.
• No purchase necessary: To enter without purchasing a Giving Toque or Bow River Shacket, participants can send a written entry with their full name, contact information, and a brief description of how they would use the custom clothing mystery box to:
1212 34 Ave SE BAY 130, Calgary, AB T2G 1V7.
One mailed entry per person is allowed. Each mailed entry is considered equivalent to one toque purchase for entry purposes.
4. Prizes
One (1) winner will be selected to receive a $5,000 Custom Clothing Mystery Box. The box will contain custom clothing items such as hoodies, t-shirts, toques, and other apparel, tailored to the winner’s choice of team, business, or organization.
The prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or exchangeable for cash. Custom clothing must comply with Local Laundry’s production guidelines.
5. Winner Selection
The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The winner will be notified via email within [1-3 weeks] after their purchase or mailed entry. The winner must respond within [7 days] of notification to claim the prize. If the winner does not claim the prize within the allotted time, an alternate winner may be selected.
6. Odds of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
7. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase is necessary to enter or win the contest. To enter without purchasing a Giving Toque, follow the mail-in instructions outlined in Section 3. Each entry, whether purchased or mailed, has an equal chance of winning.
8. Skill-Testing Question
In compliance with Canadian law, the selected winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question to claim the prize.
9. Publicity
By entering the contest, participants agree to allow Local Laundry to use their name, likeness, and submitted entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
Local Laundry is not responsible for any technical or human error that may occur in the administration of the contest, including lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected from participants will be used only for the purpose of administering the contest and in accordance with Local Laundry’s privacy policy.
12. General Conditions
Local Laundry reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest at any time without notice, for any reason, including fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Local Laundry’s control that impairs the integrity of the contest.
