Thanks for stopping by. I'm Dustin Paisley - an entrepreneur and lover of all things business. 6 years ago, I co-founded Local Laundry as a way to learn about e-commerce and give back to the community. Never in a million years did I expect the company to turn out as successful as it has.

In that 6 years, we've shipped almost 15,000 orders, sold over 50,000 t-shirts, sweaters, hoodies and hats, and have raised nearly $175,000 for local charities and non profits (& counting!). What started as a simple way to make clothing that would allow customers to proudly represent where they are from, has turned into an incredible brand that stands for high quality clothing that is built to last years, not months. Local Laundry is about making people feel good about themselves, inside and out. How? Simple. By wearing Local Laundry, you're making a conscious decision to buy a piece of clothing that is going to last years, instead of months. By wearing Local Laundry, you're supporting local manufacturing jobs that are regulated by strict environmental and labour standards, instead of non-existent labour standards. By wearing Local Laundry, you're wearing a piece of clothing that is incredibly comfortable

Over the course of that 6 years, we've learned a thing or two about business - we've even won a few awards.

While milestones and awards are accomplishments worth celebrating, there is no mistake that we're still learning more and more everday. We have a long way to go to reach out goals, and have even more to learn to get there. To help with this, we've worked hard over the past 6 years to build and develop our own community of small business owners to learn from and collaborate with.

What's incredible about this past year is we continue to grow that community on platforms like TikTok, which is probably where you discovered me and Local Laundry. This surge in discovery of other local businesess owners has encouraged us think of ways we can give back to the small business community which has given so much to us.

This is why I've decided, alongside my business partner Connor, to create a newsletter of sorts, but with our own learnings. We'll be sending out bi-weekly emails going over some of the tips, tricks, theories, frameworks, etc. that we're learning in our own endeavours, or from other entrepreneurs and mentors. The best part about social media, is that it has the power to be social, and therefor allow us to continue builing that small business community.

So if you're a small business owner, or if you've ever dreamed of being an entrepreneur yourself, consider following along our journey and learn what we're learning while growing our company.

In the meantime, I HIGHLY recommend you do some shopping. You won't be disappointed.
