Custom Garment FAQ's

Our minimum order for something custom is 100 units per style and colour and we need about 4-5 weeks to produce them. If you'd like to print on our existing inventory we can do orders of 20-100 pieces.
Depending on the design and number of printing locations, there may be additional costs. Send us an email about your project and we can discuss what this looks like.
If you want to collaborate with our in-house designer or an artist, we require the full price of the custom design up front. Contact us at custom@locallaundry.ca for more information on our different levels of custom design.
That depends on you! Most custom clients select the garment cut and colour of their choice— but even those can be modified with the help of our production team. There’s the design we print on the garments, plus you can opt to add a woven label with your branding, custom neck tags, hang tags—you name it, we’re here to help you create it.
Because we cut, sew, knit and print all of our garments from scratch, they take time. The design phase takes 1 to 3 weeks, depending on your level of involvement, and production takes an additional 4 to 6 weeks, plus approximately one week for shipping. If you’re supplying your own design, we can shave time off these estimates.
As you can probably guess, customized garments can’t be sold to anyone but you because they’re designed and made for you! So, we don’t offer returns or exchanges, BUT if your garments arrive with any imperfections, we want to know so we can make it right.
If you purchase a custom design through us using our designer, you are free to use the design as you wish on any internal/external documentation, social platforms, etc. However, Local Laundry retains the rights to printing the design on any clothing or other garments, to protect our brand and ensure utilization of socially conscious garments.
