Why We Made This: Cindy Yu Fitness made to order campaign
2021 has served as the busiest year yet when it comes to made to order campaigns. We were thrilled to team up with Cindy Yu Fitness to create custom Canadian-made garments for her community.
Made to order campaigns allow us to work with new communities, try out new garments and only manufacture what is sold throughout the campaign, producing made to order campaigns more sustainable and friendlier on the environment. From now until May 15th shop the custom collection by Cindy Yu Fitness in our brand new bamboo pullover Hoodie in both black and white!

Cindy Yu has built her community from the fitness industry. As an instructor and trainer throughout the years, Cindy started to create content focused on disseminating different types of workouts fitness enthusiasts were looking for that could be done in a physical gym or home. Cindy is not without creativity and practical solutions to working our bodies from intensive abs workouts to bodyweight exercises during her activities.
Since the pandemic, Cindy’s workouts and training have revolved around the virtual community. Cindy catered her exercises to home-based activities by taking her classes online and meeting her community with the fitness equipment they would have on hand. Dumbbells, bands, a mat and your own body, are the extent to the equipment you may need. While Cindy has built her business, she has captivated audiences on social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, and engaged exercisers joining her training programs both on and offline.

The partnership with Cindy allowed us to explore new garments we hadn’t presented to our community, the Bamboo Pullover Hoodie. If you’ve purchased or worn a garment with bamboo fabric, you’ll know it’s ultra-soft. We like to call it a premium fabric! Through this partnership with Cindy Yu, we were able to incorporate a give-back component within the campaign. Cindy’s recent addition to the family, Penny the Australian Labradoodle, has requested donations made to Pawsitive Match Rescue! A portion of the profits from every white and black bamboo pullover hoodie will be donated to Pawsitive Match.
Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation saves dogs and cats facing life-threatening circumstances in Canada and beyond. The animals in our program come from shelters that have no choice but to euthanize due to over-crowding or because they are shutting down and stray animals that have no home. We do not discriminate by age, size, breed, location etc. We are here to help all animals. We believe that animals deserve a second chance at a happy life, no matter where they come from.
