Blanket Donation to United Way: How Local Laundry is Making a Difference in Canada

As a brand and as a business, it's important to remember that our success is not solely our own. We have a responsibility to give back to the communities that support us and help us thrive. That's why at Local Laundry, we're committed to making a positive impact through our Giving Garments™ program.

Recently, we had the opportunity to donate several hundred blankets to the United Way through our Giving Garments™ program, and the impact we made was truly heartwarming. It's amazing to see what a difference we can make when we come together and give back.

But our giving doesn't stop there. Thanks to the support of companies like ARC Resources Ltd., we've been able to donate over 10,000 essential items to shelters in need across Canada. And most recently, we had the pleasure of partnering with the United Way to make an even greater impact in our community.

Through this partnership, we were able to donate warm winter jackets, hats, and gloves to those in need. We know how harsh the winters can be in Canada, and we wanted to do our part to help those who may not have the resources to stay warm during these cold months.

It's humbling to think about the impact that our small business can make when we come together and give back. We're proud to be able to work with incredible organizations like the United Way, who are doing such important work in our communities.

But our giving isn't just about donating items. It's about building relationships, connecting with our community, and making a difference in any way we can. That's why we're committed to giving back through our time, resources, and expertise.

One way we've done this is through our commitment to sustainability. We're proud to manufacture all of our products responsibly in Canada, adhering to strict environmental and labour regulations while reducing our carbon footprint. We're committed to using business as a force for good and run a number of initiatives to further reduce our carbon footprint, including free carbon offsetting for shipping on all orders purchased online. We also offer customers the ability to carbon offset their entire order
