2018 PyeongChang Olympics
Who else is excited for the 2018 Winter Olympics?! We’re only a few days away from watching athletes pour their hearts and put their bodies to the test at the PyeongChang Olympics. The Olympics is such a spectacular demonstration of dedication, athletic capacity and, teamwork, plus it gives us regular people something to follow along and marvel at!
This year for the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics we wanted to get involved, we wanted to show our support and provide Canadians with a chance to build community during the games. Our Olympic Campaign aims to amplify Canadian spirit and community throughout the 16-day duration. We've reached out to some Calgarian Olympic athletes who have experienced the Olympics first hand and we're looking forward to hearing their stories.
Our Olympic Campaign will attempt to evoke a sense of Canadian pride and celebration for the athletes and community builders among us by sharing their stories of strife and success.

At Local Laundry, we don’t do anything without a teaming up with a local charity or non-profit to support our initiatives and crazy ideas. For our Olympic Campaign, we’ve decided to work the Canadian Sport Institute (CSI). The Canadian Sport Institute provides world-leading Olympic and Paralympic training environments to elite athletes and coaches across Alberta. With the support of CSI’s partners, CSI’s team of experts delivers sports science and medicine, coaching and, life services to power podium performances and help Canada win more medals. Over the course of the next couple of weeks, you will be hearing from and be reading about CSI and their dedication to elite athletes, community and their initiative of bringing power to the podium.
We will be donating to CSI, but we need your help! On February 9th for every like and comment on our Instagram photo, we will donate 25 cents to the CSI!
