We could make our clothing cheaper.
But then weĀ would need to replace our premium fabrics with material that's milled and dyed overseas using toxic chemicals, utilize factories that subject their workers to unsafe working conditions and below poverty wages, and ultimately produce a product that would only last a few wears before ending up in the landfill.Ā
