Represent Calgary in our classic 50/50 crewneck. A full-cut crew with a cover seam neck, set-in sleeves, featuring our trademarked YYC design.

We could make our clothing cheaper.

But then we would need to replace our premium fabrics with material that's milled and dyed overseas using toxic chemicals, utilize factories that subject their workers to unsafe working conditions and below poverty wages, and ultimately produce a product that would only last a few wears before ending up in the landfill.

We're not interested in making cheaper clothing. It's not good for you, for the workers involved in the process, or for our planet.

Instead, we choose to make our all of our products responsibly here in Canada, adhering to strict labour and environmental regulations using high quality fabrics and materials all while giving back to community. This results in a higher quality product that is built to last years, instead of months, all while contributing to a better community, and a better planet.

This garment is made from a 50/50 cotton polyester blend.

  • Canadian 14oz polyester / USA 8oz cotton.
  • Our crewnecks are made with ring spun cotton, giving it a soft and smooth finish.
  • Unisex fit.
  • Set-in sleeves.

Our wear-house is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. All orders ship out within 1-3 business days. Visit Our Shipping Page for more info.

    Great when on sale

Too expensive not on sale. Value is good when on sale.

Hi Natalie. Thank you for your feedback and comment. We pride ourselves on manufacturing responsibly here in Canada. We adhere to strict Canadian environmental and labour laws, while crafting a high quality garment that is made to last. This results in a much higher cost of garment than overseas manufacturing. While it may seem too expensive to some, we view it as the cost of responsible business :)

    Love Local Laundry!

Got my first sweatshirt from Local Laundry and love the quality and the mission of the company. I am between sizes and was unsure which would be best, but a quick trip to the warehouse (with my dog) was helpful in deciding fit. Connor and the crew were super helpful and welcoming.

    Super cozy!

This is hands down the coziest sweater I own. Love the soft feeling in the inside, and the colour is a lovely bonus. I had the privilege of picking up my order in person and meeting Connor. He was very accomodating and made sure I was happy with my purchase. Definitely look forward to buying from here again!

    Can’t Take it Off!

I have been living in my sweater since I got it! I got it a little dirty making gnocchi and just kept wearing it anyway haha, I couldn’t bear to take it off and wash it. Thankfully with the warmer weather I can now happily put it in the wash. It’s super thick, soft and incredibly warm. It seems to be very high quality, and is a perfect fit. I’m 5’ 4 and slim build and got the XS. Ordering it and picking it up was so delightful I want to get something else just to repeat that’s experience. I talked to Connor and he was an absolute gem - he could not have made the experience more positive.

It’s easily the comfiest sweater I own!
