This Canadian-made bamboo T-Shirt was made with Kodette LaBarbera in support of her son, Ryder, and the community that has been built around him to support him as a child growing up with autism.

Designed by local artist, Erin Lawrence, this design showcases the community it takes to come together and show love and support to help those with autism grow and excel.

$10 from each T-Shirt will be donated to Autism Canada. Together, Ryder has helped raise over $8,000 for Autism Charities.

    Shipping

The vast majority of our garments are manufactured, decorated, and warehoused in a single location just outside of Toronto. This reduces the distance each item has to travel prior to arriving to our customers. All orders ship out within 1-3 business days. Once the item has been shipped, you can expect your laundry to arrive to your door anywhere between 1-5 business days depending on where you are located. We charge a $10 flat rate for shipping Canada wide to help cover some of our costs.

Yes, we ship internationally. We especially love showing off Canadian-made garments to the rest of the world.

**Please allow for unexpected delays and interruptions during COVID-19. Carriers are experiencing delays due to the virus closing facilties and disrupting wait times.

    Returns

In order to be eligible for a return and/or exchange, your items must be unwashed, unworn and in the original condition in which you received them. Returns and Exchanges must be done within 30 days of receiving your items.

Visit our Shipping, Exchanges and Returns page for full details.

We like the environment, even more than we like newly released garments. The latter shouldn't have to comprise the first. In addition to environmental protection steps we've taken in exclusively manufacturing in Canada, we also carbon offset every order placed online. It's the very least we can do to thank you for shopping online with us.

We're proud to offset thousands of kilograms of CO2 each year.

    MADE TO LAST

When you invest in garments made here at home, you’re investing in quality. From high performance fabrics to tailored fits, these aren’t your average volunteer t-shirts that get worn  once then disintegrate in the wash.

    EMPLOYING OUR NEIGHBOURS

Choosing Canadian is choosing jobs for your family, friends and neighbours. Jobs that pay a  liveable wage—plus health benefits—and keep our national unemployment rate low and  Canadians happy and healthy.

    FIGHTING FOR THE GREAT OUTDOORS

If you’re anything like us, you like to enjoy the great outdoors, whether it’s the Rockies, our  prairies or coasts. Shopping Canadian reduces our environmental footprint and keeps Canada  green for generations to come.

    Local-ish

Great that LL is made in Canada … but disappointed it’s not really “local” … like, you know, Calgary. If you’re in Calgary and looking for authentic local, maybe give Ashabi Wears a whirl.

    Hi Greg,

Thanks so much for your support of all small businesses and Canadian-made clothing companies. I'm so sorry for disappointing you. We're always on the lookout for new production partners here in Calgary.

Everything we do is entirely made here in Canada, from dyeing, knitting, cutting, sewing, printing and shipping. We're employing people here in Calgary as well as all across Canada, so when you support us you are supporting your neighbours here in Calgary as well as your fellow Canadians.

If you have a connection with Ashabi Wears, we'd love to connect and learn more about them. Feel free to fire me an email at connor@locallaundry.ca, happy to issue you a return and refund for your garments, or if you ever need anything, always happy to help.

    :)

    Our Story

    Making our laundry local

It all started when our founder, Connor, picked a fight with a laundry machine. He lost the fight, but had an a-ha moment in the scuffle: What if all of our laundry was local? Like really, truly local? And from the ashes of that fight, Local Laundry rose. Today, we’re headquartered in Calgary and proudly Canadian, from our manufacturers and garments to our employees and customers. But the clothes are just the beginning: Our community is the heart of our story.
